Restaurant & Bar Design Awards 2017

Restaurant & Bar Design Awards have 9th winners of the 2017 year. 
At London's King's Cross on the 5th October 2017 was called a list of winners in different nominations.We are presenting some of them below.

Created by artist Simon Morris from Sweden. Used sustainable oak, ash and walnut combined with low-energy LED lights. The lightbulb hovers by magnetic levitation and is powered wirelessly through the air.

Correct Architecture: Swedish ICEHOTEL has a new art room of ice



A small village in the north of Sweden welcomes 50,000 visitors each winter. Besides the so-called warm accommodation offers a more engaging cool rooms built of ice, which are further divided by common rooms through to deluxe art. To the rooms were not always the same, the founders decided each year at art rooms demolish and build new ones.

Amazing Issey Miyake store design in Tokyo by Yoichi Yamamoto: “The back of the chairs stand up from the stage, while the legs of the chairs are drawings on the floor of the stage.



If you look at the installation from one point in front of the shop window, the back of the chairs, which are three-dimensional objects, and the legs of the chairs, which are two-dimensional drawings, meet and create a single figure. We expressed Issey Miyake’s “from 2D cloth to 3D dress” philosophy in our installation.”

Client: Cooperation with AFB & Martinson

City: Virserum and Lund
Tengbom along with AFB and wood processing company Martinson developed "10 smart square" which is a concept for the future of student housing.

To succeed in building homes that students can afford to live in new solutions must be developed. Student accomodation "10 smart square" is an interesting option because it is environmentally friendly, has an efficient living space and is portable.

Correct People: In China wants to build eco sci-fi farms

The famous Belgian visionary and architect Vincent Callebaut futuristic buildings designed for the Chinese city of Shenzhen entirely new type of skyscrapers. The project, called Asian Cairns proposes to build China's six buildings with multifunctional usage. Farm-scrapers would offer primarily a place to live, but we have found here and fields for growing crops, cultural facilities and systems for power generation.
