Restaurant & Bar Design Awards have 9th winners of the 2017 year. 
At London's King's Cross on the 5th October 2017 was called a list of winners in different nominations.We are presenting some of them below.

The Penny Drop (Melbourne, Australia) Design by Golden

Correct Architecture: "Endless City" by SURE Architecture Project Office

SURE Architecture Project Office has created an ambitious plan in the city, which shows how the future might look like huge skyscrapers. Flats, shops, offices, schools and even parks - all there would be in the same building. The "Endless City" has already won several major awards in prestigious architectural competitions.

The problem of large cities is often limited by the green areas that allow for a moment forget the ubiquitous concrete and asphalt. What to do when the space of the park or square is missing, and the residents would like to stay in this places? The answer to this problem was solved the Italian Stefano Boeri in architectural studio Architetti.

Correct Innovation: City on Water

PayPal founder Peter Thiel, has invested 1.25 million dollars to make this dream could come true. He wants to be floated outside the jurisdiction of existing states. Already had the first draft.

The idea of city on water merit of Seasteading Institute. In 2009, the Institute has announced an architectural competition for it, these floating cities might look like. Each of the structures will be weighed about 12 000 tons, and it will supply diesel engine. Each barge has about 270 people live. When one combines them together water rise metropolis.

While we do have a load of cars and public transport all over the place - the bicycle is still very much a common way to get around in Japan.So much so that finding a place to park ones two wheeler can be a problem - its even more of a problem when folks start to park illegally.

What to do when in the center of a huge metropolis there is no space for another skyscrapers? Start building underground! With such a proposal under the city spatial designers come from Mexico. And it looks really impressive.

Correct Architecture: Swedish ICEHOTEL has a new art room of ice

A small village in the north of Sweden welcomes 50,000 visitors each winter. Besides the so-called warm accommodation offers a more engaging cool rooms built of ice, which are further divided by common rooms through to deluxe art. To the rooms were not always the same, the founders decided each year at art rooms demolish and build new ones.

The landscape of Mar Azul, a seaside resort near Villa Gesell and 400 km from Buenos Aires, is full of thick forest of different kinds of pine trees, acacias and black poplars as well as wide areas of dunes and virgin beaches.

Tengbom along with AFB and wood processing company Martinson developed "10 smart square" which is a concept for the future of student housing.

To succeed in building homes that students can afford to live in new solutions must be developed. Student accomodation "10 smart square" is an interesting option because it is environmentally friendly, has an efficient living space and is portable.

Correct People: In China wants to build eco sci-fi farms

The famous Belgian visionary and architect Vincent Callebaut futuristic buildings designed for the Chinese city of Shenzhen entirely new type of skyscrapers. The project, called Asian Cairns proposes to build China's six buildings with multifunctional usage. Farm-scrapers would offer primarily a place to live, but we have found here and fields for growing crops, cultural facilities and systems for power generation.

Hill House - Andrew Maynard & Mark Austin

Rather than repeating past mistakes and extending from the rear in a new configuration, the proposal was to build a new structure on the rear boundary, the southern edge of the block, upon the footprint of what had been, until now, the back yard. The new structure faces the sun, the pure cantilevered box above acts as the passive solar eave, cutting out summer sun, while letting winter sun flood in.

Following the decision to build at the rear of the block a ubiquitous modern box was first imagined. Soon it seemed necessary to pursue the opportunity to activate this new, once shaded, now sunny facade. A seat along the new northern facade? Perhaps a series of steps like the Scalinata della Trinità dei Monti? But how does one lounge in the sun on steps. Perhaps a slope instead .... And the hill house evolved/emerged.

Horden Cherry Lee “Micro Compact Home”

Compact dimensions allow the micro home to nest amidst small trees and shrubs and integrate into any landscape. The m-ch is delivered by trailer or light crane and may be arranged as a single unit raised above the ground on a light aluminium frame and placed in a garden for private use, as a 'guest home' or 'teen home' or in the countryside for weekend leisure activities.

micro compact homes may be grouped in horizontal or vertical arrangements as 'family clusters', or form larger villages connected by personal outside spaces related to each unit.

Potential uses are social or student accommodation, short stay business or leisure.
